DESCRIPTION: A short cycled rust that is spreading fast. The aecia are found on both sides of the leaves as well as along the inflorescence axis. They are scattered rather than tightly clustered and are orange in colour. SPORES: Aeciospores are polygonal with roughened walls and contain orange-yellow granular contents. They measure 14-19 * 12 - 15. HABITAT: On wild and cultivated Daisies. SEASON: Late summer to early autumn. |
